Hi,

We are interfacing DP83822I ETH phy with am623 MPU + Linux (6.10), i want to know how to use the power saving mode (sleep mode) and what is mechanism to wake from sleep mode.

And what will be the state of MDIO, MDC pins in sleep mode?
Can you please explain in detail.

Hello,

If you are talking about active or passive sleep, Reg 0x11[14:12] should be able to explain functionality and wake mechanisms.

SMI should still be functional during these modes.

I checked the reg 0x011, I want know, is there any documentation or APIs are given in SDK to access these register to enable and disable the Power saving modes. ?

Hello,

You would need to check with the AM623 MPU team on this. This forum is specifically for the Ethernet PHY device.

This feature should be a simple register configuration on the PHY from the SoC.
