Tool/software:
If I have the current implementation setup (867 PHY/ 720 PHY) like the media converters are back to back connected, will the gPTP synchronization signal (IEEE 802.1 AS) just pass thru the Ethernet PHYs uninterrupted and not changed if it is coming from the 720 than to the 867 PHY?
If I have the connection as shown below and the gPTP synchronization signal (IEEE 802.1 AS) goes from the Automotive Ethernet and thru the media converter PHYs and out to the Standard Ethernet. Will the signal remain uninterrupted and not change going thru the entire conversion as shown starting from Automotive Ethernet and ending at Standard Ethernet?
