I am working with the TCA9548AMRGER in the 24VQFN package with the thermal pad. The datasheet does not specify to connect the thermal pad to a specific net, nor does the datasheet specify to not connect the thermal pad to a specific net. The dev board uses the TSSOP package so we cannot verify using that.
Is it safe to tie the TP to a ground plane with vias for better thermal performance?
I appreciate any input on this matter!
