Dear TI-Forum,

We are using Ethernet for communication between our control systems and CAN for communication between expansion modules and the control system.
In a new development, we intend to replace these communications with Single Pair Ethernet (SPE). To this end, we have already purchased several of your evaluation boards.

During the evaluation, two questions/requests arose:

  1. Is a switch for two to three SPE participants and an MII/RMII interface being developed for the 10BASE-T1L standard?
  2. Are there example projects where a bus system like CAN has been replaced by SPE?

    Hi Lukas, 

    Unfortunately, TI does not manufacture Ethernet Switches, but Ethernet PHYs.
