Hi Teams,

Can we support single link with DOUT1? My customer is trying to use single FPD-LINK port and want to use the DOUT1, is this doable? how to configure?

Hi Marsh,

on the 941AS the single link mode is only supported for Port 0. Also mentioned in this E2E: https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface/f/interface-forum/1439445/ds90ub941as-q1-forced-single-fpd-link-iii-transmitter-mode-for-port-1/

However, the DS90UB981-Q1 can be used here instead since it supports MIPI DSI, and can support FPD3 mode, Single-link on Port1.

The UB981 and 941AS have a common landing pattern, and on the FPD link marketing page you can find the comparison of pin-out and external component differences.
