TSM24CA-Q1: SPICE Model and Datasheet Inconsistency?

Part Number: TSM24CA-Q1

Tool/software:

Hello everyone,

i just downloaded the SPICE model of the TSM24CA-Q1 as well as the corresponding data sheet. However, it seems that there are some inconsistencies between the datasheet and basic diode model that can be found in the TSM24CA-Q1.lib file of the Spice Model package.

For instance, the datasheet says that the component has a breakdown voltage of 25.5 V whereas the SPICE model is parametrized with 32 V, as can be seen in the attachements.

Is this difference/inconsistency intended or am I misunderstanding something?

Thanks in advance and kind regards
Andreas

  • Hi Andreas,

I believe the 32V breakdown value was used because that is the max breakdown of the device. I understand that can be confusing since the max breakdown is not mentioned in the datasheet.

Are you experiencing any issues with your SPICE model? I can always work on updating this for you if needed.

    Best,

    McKenzie
