Tool/software:
Hi,
Please kindly provide the EEPROM bin. file for DS280DF810 based on below:
Hi Zhang,
What is the I2C address of the DS280DF810 in your system?
Thanks,
Drew
Hi Zhang,
I have some questions regarding your configuration.
Thanks,
Drew
Hi Drew,
Please help to confirm the enable register is 0x7F or 0x23, and the 0x7F is the Continuous adaptive register?
Hi Zhang,
0x23/0x1E handle DFE enable.
0x7D/0x7F handle continuous adaptation.
I also noticed you are setting post cursor to +2. In most cases, customers set post cursor sign to "-" instead of "+". Have you tested these settings and confirmed they are optimal?
We will generate 2 EEPROMs according to the following configuration and share with you. The channel select register writes and cdr reset register writes will not apply for EEPROM.
I'd strongly encourage you to download SigCon Architect and install the DS280DF810 device profile so that you can generate EEPROMs in the future.
Thanks,
Drew
Hi Drew,
Can you kindly send a email to me(liang.zhang@arrow,com) that I will loop the customer in the email?
I got the telephone from Tess that you can support customer by email the month ago? Customer use the DS280DF810 has many support need, thanks.
Hi Zhang,
We are working on creating and testing the EEPROM files for this.
Is it possible for the customer to follow up on E2E? We would prefer to support on E2E if possible.
Thanks,
Drew
Hi Drew,
This is also fine for our customer with E2E.
Customer feedback to us theb below:
1. They don't know how to set the DFE function and they need us to provide the open/ close the DFE EERPOM program;
2. They set the pose cursor to +2/-2 and the CPU RX eye pattern is well for +2 and substandard for -2 pose cursor;
3. They can't use the SigCon Architect and they have no USE2ANY tool so they need TI provide the suuport for this device, thanks.
Hi Zhang,
Thanks for the follow up. We will provide EEPROMs later this week.
Thansks,
Drew
Hi Zhang,
Drew is still working on these EEPROM files, apologies for any delay.
Best,
David
Hi Zhang,
Apologies for the delay. We needed to spend more time on this to fix an issue we identified with one of the EEPROMs during testing.
We are planning to provide updated EEPROM in the next couple days.
Thanks
Drew
Hi Zhang,
We made two EEPROM images according to the following configuration. Please find these attached.
