DP83867IR: DP83867 & 7499111446

Part Number: DP83867IR

Tool/software:

Dear Support.

We have produced a board to connect 7499111446 to DP83867IR.

The host is i.MX8MP and I am able to access registers with MDIO.

It does not link up.

Can I use 7499111446 connected to DP83867IR?

Is there a mistake in the circuit?

Can you please help me?

    We recommend using magnetics that have separate center tap for each channel. This device integrates center taps for all channels. This does not follow our recommendation. Besides that, only crosstalk for 1-30MHz is out of our recommendation. We recommend Pulse Electronics HX5008NL for magnetics. 

    For the schematic, is it good to assume that TRUE means they are not populated, based on your comment in the schematic?
    If so, is the mirror mode enabled on purpose? Based on your schematic, it seems like mirror mode does not need to be enabled since your MDI lines match each channel accordingly. 

    Mirror mode can be turned off in the register 0x0031 or strapping to disable mirror mode.

    Thank you for your response.

    I disable the mirror mode and it works.

    We will consider changing 7499111446 to 7498111124 or 74991104403 the future.
