Tool/software:
In TDP1204 datasheet, we need to add 499ohm on DP signal in HDMI AC-coupled mode.
But in our another chip(not TI), it call this as DC Restoration circuit and seems it need for DC mode not AC mode.
I’m confused…

I believe the two serve the same purpose and it is a typo in the other vendor's documentation. If you look at the text, you can see
So it is for AC coupled source.

Yes, i think both should be same purpose but it also said The DC restoration circuit is suitable for designers not wishing to implement the newly introduced AC coupled sources implementation added to HDMI Specification version 2.1b.
And explain in TMDS, so it should be DC source not AC. that's why I confused...
