Tool/software:

I have the 'EVM' connected and working with the USB-2-MDIO, but I do not see how to evaluate the link performance with this eval board(s). Is there an instruction set or sample code to use to implement some basic functions, like the TDR and/or BER?

    Hi James, 

    There is an application note (DP83TD510E Cable Diagnostics Toolkit (Rev. C)) listed under the product page on TI.com which details the cable diagnostic toolkit and how to use the features such as TDR/ALCD/SQI. There is also some psuedo-scripts present for the different registers that need to be written/read to use some of these features. I have linked this application note here.
