In Section 9.2 (Typical Application) of the SN65LVDS93AIDGGRQ1 datasheet, 4.7kΩ pull-up resistors are shown on all RGB lines. However, there is no mention of these pull-ups elsewhere in the datasheet. Additionally, the LVDS83BTSSOPEVM evaluation module does not include any pull-up resistors on the RGB lines. Are these pull-up resistors actually necessary on the RGB lines?

    Hi Ravi,

    It is not required to have 4.7 kOhm pull-up resistors on the LVCMOS/ RGB input lines. The DIN pins can connect to processor directly.

    The diagram here indicates how it could be added for testing purposes in case there is no processor.
