TCA9544A: The difference between a switch and a multiplexer

The two materials TCA9544 and TCA9548, the former supports multi-channel selection, while the latter supports one-channel selection.

From the perspective of the manual, both are used to solve I2C address conflicts. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the two parts?

A switch can enable mutiple channels at the same time; this is the only difference. Use it if you want to do this.

Both of these two chips can solve the problem of address conflicts. May I ask what advantages does the switch multi-channel enable have.

When you have address conflicts, you do not want to enable multiple channels, and you can use either one.
