SN65MLVD082: Harmonic issues

Tool/software:

We are using this part with 50 MHz and are having EMI issue with harmononics of this device getting into our receiver.  Any suggestions on reducing harmonics?

    Hi Joseph,

    Do you have any additional information about the M-LVDS bus such as the number of nodes, length of bus, or the layout/schematic? One of the most important things is to have small stubs between the bus and the nodes on the bus. Stubs create impedance mismatches and can create ringing. It is also important to have proper termination on the bus. Typically, this achieved with two 100 Ohm resistors at opposite ends of the bus. Section 12 of this App Note provides design guidelines which may be helpful in improving signal integrity.
