TCAN1463-Q1: TCAN1463-Q1

Part Number: TCAN1463-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi

during  working with the TCAN1463 we found that entering to SLEEP mode dose not assert INH to low.

Description

after power up and some configuration, the transceiver is in NORMAL mode (EN = HIGH, NSTB = HIGH, there is traffic on bus ). upon receiving go to SLEEP command, the processor set NSTB = LOW (still EN = HIGH).

to summarize:

Sleep mode:  EN = HIGH, NSTB = LOW.

at this point we see the INH signal goes LOW for ~600us and return back to HIGH.

my question is: Why the INH does not stays in low state?

Note that all this time there is a traffic on the bus (not WUP pattern).

the TCAN1463 is connected on our board as seen in the figure bellow:

WAKE is not connected
INH_MASK is not connected

Best Regards
