Hello, I would like to test the DS90HH983 serializer for an upcomming infotaiment design and i am wondering how we can test out the interface with available frame grabbers in the market, there are ones with the DS90UH984  deserializer so I want to confirm that the DS90HH983 will have full compatibility with the DS90UH984, and if there are limitations we may take into account.

    Hi Diego,

     

    Yes the HH983 is compatible with the UH984 deserializer. The HH983 can support HDCP v1.4 in backwards compatibility mode working with the UH984.
