Part Number: DP83TG720R-Q1

DP83TG720R-Q1:LinkDown Issue

My  DP83TG720R-Q1 is connected to Realteck Switch though RGMII, But the TI PHY always indicate link down from MSR Register . I have try to hard and software reset, but no useful.

I can read and write register normal though MDIO.

Can you provide me some advice how to debugger the issue.

    Hi Cui,

    Link status is independent of the RGMII interface, even though the RGMII lines are not connected PHY could link up as long as the MDI connection is available with link partner.

    Please make sure the Tg720 and link partner are configured in respective Master and Slave configuration.
