Hi,
Is the output interface of the DS90UH988 chip compatible with the LVDS standar
DS90UH988 is compatible with OLDI(Open LVDS Display Interface) standard built on LVDS physical.
support a resolution of 2560*1440?
Your desired refresh rate, blanking pixels and pixel resolution are needed to determine if DS90UH988 can provide a suitable PCLK and data-rate for your 2560x1440 display needs.
For example, assuming the following requirements:
Total pixels = (active pixels) x 1.15 = i.e blanking is 15% of active pixels
refresh rate = 60Hz
pixel resolution = 24-bit
PCLK = (2560x1440) x 1.15 x 60 = 254.36MHz PCLK
data-rate = 254.36MHz x 24 = 6.1 Gbps FPD-LINK IV line rate
In this example scenario, the DS90UH988 would be suitable for the 2560x1440p display using Dual Link OLDI output.
Please provide more details on your application such as total pixels, refresh rate, number of displays for further guidance.
Thanks,
