For a specific application, I need to reverse the direction of the VCSEL (Anode/Cathode) when connecting it to the ONET8501V.
The revised circuit is shown below.
I have also swapped the Bias pin and VCC connections accordingly, as a higher voltage should be applied to the VCSEL Anode side.
Original datasheet schematic connection:
MOD+ → BIAS pin (VCSEL Cathode side)
MOD− → VCC (VCSEL Anode side)
Revised connection:
MOD+ → VCC (VCSEL Anode side)
MOD− → BIAS pin (VCSEL Cathode side)
Could you please confirm whether this revised configuration is valid and will function correctly?
