We have ordered the TUSB4020BIPHPR and there are some QC issue for this device:

1. The pins of the chip turn black for the USB4020BIPHPR after using SMT technique, it is normal or not?

2. There are two different lot trace code in on reel:

The photo is not clear to check for the black discoloration. Can we get a high mag picture or pre-FA for the unit on the right (45A9GTW) to check if it is mold debris? Does customer have solderability issue?

Lot combination allows a maximum of 24 LTCs to be combined. Based on SAP there are 6 LTCs in this batch.

This is normal for standard leadframes. The location of the y-tie will be depending on the unit’s location on the leadframe.
