DP83869HM: Media converter mode and pin/port mirroring strap

Part Number: DP83869HM

Tool/software:

Hi,

I'm designing DP83869HM into a media converter to convert Ethernet from copper to fiber and vice versa. On my PCB layout, it would be good to have the ports A,B,C and D mirrored, as well as the polarity of the pin pairs. I believe this is possible with RX_CONTROL strap on pin 38 as per 7.5.1.4 on page 49. However, this implies the port/pin mirroring is only applicable in RGMII/SGMII to copper mode.
Is this correct, or can I apply a logic 1 on pin 38 as a strap and the differential pins swap polarity, as well as ports get mirrored (A->D etc.)

Many thanks for clarification, in advance.

Kind regards
Peks
