TS3DV642-Q1: Application confirmation

Part Number: TS3DV642-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

We're using the TS3DV642-Q1 for LVDS and have a few questions about it:

  1. Is it possible to swap the polarity of the differential signals in the TS3DV642-Q1?
  2. Can we connect the D1, D2, D3, and CLK signals to any of the D1, D2, D3, and CLK pins on the TS3DV642-Q1, or do they need to follow a specific pin mapping?

According the block diagram in datasheet, I think it's ok.

Regards,

Roy

  • Hi Roy,

The device is just a passive switch so the naming conventions we provide for the switch inputs don't really matter to the switch itself. And even the signals it sees won't matter as long as it's within the datasheet specifications.
Long way to say, yes you can switch polarity and any signal can go on any pin (as long as it stays in datasheet limits)

    Thanks!
