I have two questions for TCAN330.
1) In TCAN330, can SHDN (pin 5) and S (pin 8) be connected directly to GND without a resistor if not used? We do not want to connect these two pins to the MCU.
2) My other question is, if there is an error in communication or tcan330, is it necessary to reset the device? In other words, in case of a fault, is it necessary to reset tcan330 with a pin other than TXD and RXD of the MCU?
