Hi team,

Could you please help to elaborate why this register need to be set to 0x0E81 when using short cable (<1m)? Is there any influence if customer do not set.

    This FFE is after the ADC. Properties of FFE is used to cancel some other artifacts of short channel in this short cable case. In the short cable case which has less insertion loss, setting FFE to a value other than 0x0E81 could cause compensation not being set correctly, which would impact signal integrity.
