Hi all,

We have a RGB 4.3" display with 9 MHz Pixel Clock and 480x272 resolution. The processor offers only display output with MIPI-DSI or LVDS. Therefore we need to convert to a RGB interface (either from LVDS or MIPI). Due to the low frequency I'm not sure if we can use the DS90CF384A to convert from LVDS to RGB.

Can you please give us some advice or alternative parts for that function?

Hi Roland,

For a one-chip solution, you could consider using the SN65LVDS822, for LVDS-to-CMOS conversion, which has a pixel clock range of 4 MHz to 54 MHz. It is compatible with LVDS transmitters that comply with TIA/EIA 644-A.

You are right, DS90CF384A does not support 9 MHz frequency.

For DSI to LVDS conversion, you could could consider two-chip solutions suggested in the thread below. However, the pixel clock rate here is not supported and you might need to check if additional blanking can be supported by this display.
