SN75LVDS82: SN75LVDS82

Part Number: SN75LVDS82

Tool/software:

Hello, I need your help.
I have to convert an LVDS-to-RGB signal, and the LVDS signals have a +1V8 level.
Is the SN75LVDS82 suitable? The chip has an LVDS POWER input (PIN 13),
but it's not clear whether you can define +1V8 as the signal level there.
If it doesn't work with the SN75LVDS82, does anyone have an idea which chip I can use,
or is it possible to convert the LVDS level from +1V8 to +3V3 in front of it? Thanks for your help.
  • Hello,

The LVDS power pin 13 requires a 3.3 V supply for the SN75LVDS82.

Would it be possible in your application to add a level shifter to convert 1.8V to 3.3V? Then you could still use the SN75LVDS82 after adjusting the voltage levels with the level shifter/ voltage translator.

    Best regards,
    Ikram
