AM26LS31: Output differs

Part Number: AM26LS31

Tool/software:

hi team

my customer has been using AM26LS31 and they found that the output of chips with the first silk is 3.8V and the second one is 4.9V . They want to know whether there are any problems?

  • Hi Zoey,

That doesn't sound like it should be a problem but just to verify do they have a scopeshot of the differences?

Are they doing ICT and are worried this is an outlier?

  • The die has changed, and now uses CMOS outputs, which can go nearer the supply rails. The outputs are still inside the limits specified by the datasheets (at least 2.5 V for high, or at most 0.5 V for low). This is not a problem.

If this is an ICT, then adjust the high limit (in theory, anything between 2.5 V and 5 V would be OK).
