This will not work; you have to connect one chip's input pins to the other chip's output pins.

How you've drawn your schematic will not work. As pointed out by Clemens, you must connect the driver outputs (Y,Z) to the receiver inputs (A,B) if you want proper operation. In your schematic both chips' drivers (outputs) are connected to each other and both chips' receivers (inputs) are connected together. A point to point connection should look like the following:

LVDS to UARD converter:

if the ICs are in separate PCBA connected through the harness, shall i change the connection of output pins of one IC to input pins of another IC as connected in the below image (only in the harness cables).

No; you must connect Y → A and Z → B.

As Clemens said, the Y output need to go to the A input and the Z outputs need to go to the B input.
