Tool/software:
hi,
I’m working on a custom design using the TUSB8041IRGCR, and I noticed that in the EVM design, the 3.3V supply is provided via an LDO.
For our design, the LDO used on the EVM seems a bit large in size and not ideal in terms of efficiency for our compact system.
We are considering using the TPS62827ADMQR, a compact and efficient buck converter, to generate the 3.3V rail instead.
Do you foresee any issues, such as noise sensitivity or other concerns, when powering the TUSB8041 with this switching regulator instead of an LDO?
Thanks in advance for your guidance.
Best regards,
