TL16C750E: What is the minimum product longevity?

Tool/software:

The TL16C750E is being considered for use in a product with an expected life of more than 10 years. Does TI have a minimum life for the product?

    Hi Gary,

    We technically don't guarantee life times for commercial products. Ti has been going through to EOL devices that are in older process technologies. This device is in a newer process technology is is excluded from the recent changes of shifting from 150mm wafers to 300mm wafers. It is also the newest UART device in our portfolio so I don't expect the device to be considered for EOL within the short term.
