DS560DF410: DS560DF410 Device Configuration and Programming

Part Number: DS560DF410

Tool/software:

Does this device require programming via I2C, or can it boot up under a default mode? We just plan to use this as a simple through-put device and don’t necessarily need access to the programming registers.

If it does require programming, can/does TI provide software and/or GUI to simplify this process? We can either program it through an external I2C host controller or (preferably) through an EEPROM. I have the schematic design configured to program two devices from EEPROM, but unsure on the exact/correct process to have this done (e.g. need an EEPROM file to load).

Thank you!

  • Hi Joel,

This device requires I2C programming in order to work.

We would recommend using an external I2C host controller in order to configure the device.  We have an API for the device to handle lower level register programming.

    Thanks,

    Drew
