TPD12S016: 5V load switch and ESD works problem in TPD12S016

Hi Sirs

If we only want to use 5V load switch function and ESD protection on HDMI signal trace, can TPD12S016 works fine if I leave HPD_B unconnected?

(HPD pin from HDMI connector we will connect to another chip)

    Hi Louis,

    If you system has address all of the I2C and HPD level shifting and protection, then there is no issue with the connections that you are showing.  This setup will have the TPD12S016 providing the current limit for the HDMI_5V (The switch will always be active, so not disable), but this is not an issue in the implementation as far as I am aware.
