Hi Mun Ei,

The CAD symbol can be found here: www.ti.com/.../TUSB1021-Q1

This device works as a redriver, meaning it is bale to take in a loss signal and boost it for extended reach. The TUSB1021-Q1cannot be used as a host or device.

The CAD symbols and footprint doesn't show in the web, I may request the engineer to create it

By the way, the redriver is only work as signaling booster when the signal is weak/loss?

The redriver will equalize what it is programmed to and this value will be constant. If we boost an already good signal we may overcompensate the signal. This is why we must tune the redriver to compensate for the loss in that path and not much more past that.
