Hi,

I want to interface the MIPI-CSI2 input from the nvidia ORIN kit with the TI's EVM. As the ORIN platform do not have the Fakra in and only has the MIPI-CSI2 in.

So, would like to know if the MIPI CSI2 out on DS90UB960-Q1EVM is compatible with nvidia ORIN?

I believe Imaging Source has an adapter board available for FPD3 deserializer. See the following note on their website.

Hi Lucas,

Yes, they have a adapter board, but the lead time is like 4-5months. So, i was looking for an alternative.

Do you think the TI's EVM which has a CSI2 out could be used, like a convertor to FDPlink?

If no, could you please suggest any alternatives available in the TI's EVM family?

Hi Yogesh,

I understand, thank you for sharing background info.

TI 960EVM uses Samtec QSH-type connectors for CSI-2 output signals. The mating connector part number is QTH-020-01-H-D-DP-A. There are third party breakout board solutions Samtec and other vendors.
