Can you explain the detail of truncate frame?
When the bit is set to 1 and 954 sees a parity error:
1. Does it throw the wrong data and send all 0 instead?
2. Does Vsync signal still exist?

When this bit is set, the DES will not forward those frames from the FPD-Link RX to the CSi-2 TX. Nothing will be sent instead.
Yes, the Vsync signal still exists and is generated. However, the behavior of the Vsync depends on the CSI-2 receiver and how it handles early frame terminations
