Tool/software:
Hi,
We have received additional inquiries from end users, so please let us know.
Theoretically, there is no difference between TSD05 (unidirectional) in series and TSD05C (bidirectional), but they are different on the datasheet.
Question) Could you tell me the reasons why the parameters are different in the datasheets of TSD05 and TSD05C?
(1) Peak pulse power (529W vs. 400W) and peak pulse current (60A vs. 30A) are different.
(2) The capacitance is not simply doubled (bidirectional 7pF vs. unidirectional 19pF instead of 14pF)
(3) The leakage current is different.
(4) The breakdown voltage/clamp voltage is different. -> Is it because the forward voltage is higher in the bidirectional case?
I think there are structural differences and factors.
I would appreciate your answer.
Best regards,
Hiroshi
