SN65HVD1793: Max storage temperature

I would actually recommend our THVD24xx line of transceivers instead. These are our modern 70V transceivers with improved drivers and better cost structure. The THVD24xx datasheets almost all have storage temperature ratings of -65C to 170C as well. 

I did some filtering of our transceivers based on the part you gave above: https://www.ti.com/interface/rs-485-rs-422/products.html#1065=Full&1550=-70%20to%2070&976max=10%3B50&sort=1130;asc&

Particularly THVD2442 might be the best place to start looking into.

Generally yes this is acceptable. But if you need to be absolutely certain from a datasheet point of view, THVD24xx is the way to go.

Hi Ethan, 

Thanks for providing that altenative. Could you still provide an official minimum storage temperature for the original part? We can accept a storage temp of -40C as well, but need a confirmation from TI to proceed.
