THVD8010: Confirmation of functional requirements

Hi,

The customer wants to use it in a 12V AC low-voltage system. One of the main controllers has 100 lights and the distance is approximately 200 meters. It is necessary to know whether THVD8010DDFR can achieve this function?

    Hi Rhea,

    Is there going to be a THVD8010 at every light in the 100 node system? Or is the power system powering 100 lights - I just want to be certain how many communication nodes are going to be used in the system. 

    Also what is the desired data rate of the application. 

    The device may be able to work - it can technically support up to 256 nodes - but in practice it is probably less than half of that (the coupling network loads the device) so 100 would be close to a loaded bus - but I need the data rate and how many communication nodes are expected (if it is 100 that is fine I just want to confirm).
