We are currently using the MAX3222CDB part in our project. As an alternative, we have identified the MAX3222EIDBR. However, we noticed some differences in the block diagrams of the two parts.
Specifically, the older part does not have pull-down resistors on RIN1 and RIN2, whereas the new part includes 5kΩ pull-down resistors on these pins.
Could you please confirm what potential impacts this change might have on our design?
