Hello, I am using DP83TC814R-Q1 for my application, & I want to use both strap & LED status functionality, I didint find reference for this,

could you please suggest the LED Manufacturing part number to be used , and share the reference for circuit design

& one more question could you please share the connection details from Ethernet to RJ45

I believe you would benefit by reviewing our Media Converter (MC) EVM schematic. See https://www.ti.com/tool/DP83TC812EVM-MC

and download the EVM User's guide. The schematic will be in the last pages of the pdf.

For using straps and LED functionality, see Table 8-17. Bootstraps in the 814 datasheet.

If I want to use LED activity then what should be the case of strap signal? how they work

Hi Nayan,

The straps can either be a current sink or a current source depending on the state on powerup.

In our 812EVM-MC the LED_1 pin is used as a current source that turns the LED (D2) on when link is active:
