TCA9517-Q1: TCA9517DGKRQ1 EN pin pullup resistor value

We use TCA9517DGKRQ1 in our design.

The datasheet mentions that there is an internal pullup resistor on the EN pin.

Can you please tell me the value of this internal pullup resistor? I did not find this in the datasheet

The specified input leakage current of the EN pin is less than 30 µA, so the resistor is more than 168 kΩ.

Hi Andras,

I agree with Clemens here.

The case where VCC = 5.25V. The input leakage is max -30 uA coming out of the pin when the input voltage VI = 0.2 V.

(5.25 V - 0.2 V) / 30 uA = 168.33 kohm

The resistance must be >= 168.33 kohm. A typical application might use an external PU resistor (10k) for additional PU strength.

Thank you for your answer.

I would like to disable the repeater at startup and after power on of the system MCU will enable the repeater. So I would like to place a pulldown resistor on EN pin. 4,7kOhm seems to be a good choice.
