Hi Divya:

Here is my comment:

1: Do you need SMBUS mode or I2C mode? I2C mode is for external EEPROM.

2: what is purpose for these resistors?

Hi Brian,

Here are my answers

1.For real-time USB hub configuration if we need SM bus means , we need to SM Bus interface.so review based on that. Also can we configure the USB hub through host USB interface..?

2. It is given in TI datasheet (AM6442 SoC) to use voltage divider for USB_VBUS monitoring

Hi Divya:

What configuration you need to change? hub can work in default configuration . You do can change some configuration though host USB interface by USB command.

for voltage divider, voltage should be around 500mv at USB_DET pin.

Hi Brian,

1.Is there any initial configuration need to do on USB hub part during board bring up, or it will work on its default configuration without the using EEPROM or SMbus to host processor.
