Hi Vignesh,

Have you taken a look at the B7 init script for UB97x devices? A few additional items we need to know here:

1. Is if the 8 bit video connection is to the upper 8 or lower 8 bits of the RAW10 input to the UB933?
2. Could you confirm you know the polarity of frame valid?
3. Could you confirm the polarity of the line valid?

Once we have this information we will know how to configure register 0x7C below for the DVP to CSI conversion:

Hi Vignesh,

In this case, recommend to set register 0x7C to 0xA0 for processing of the upper 8 bits of RAW 12. Additionally, please set register 0x70 to 0x1E (defining YUV422 data type).

Additionally, please make sure the check the B7 script for link bring-up recommendations. This will involve setting the correct settings in a number of different functional blocks within the UB9724.

Hi Vignesh,

The B7 script is located in CDDS alongside the other documentation for UB9724. Do you have access to the datasheet & other materials? The B7 script should be relatively straightforward to fill out with the ser & link type used.

Do you have any coworkers at Valeo who already have access to CDDS? Normally this access is done through local field application team contact & TI marketing team. Alternatively we could move this thread to the Valeo E2E forum & continue discussion there.
