Hello expert,

My customer is using our TPD1E01B04DPYRQ1 and test on 8kV ESD which fails. They would like to know if we have uni-direction ESD could support this case? Application is camera module Serdes ESD. Thanks a lot!

    Hi Ann,

    Are they failing only for the -8kV ESD test voltage? Or +8kV as well? If they are failing at+8kV, a unidrectional diode will not improve the results.

    If they are faiing at -8kV and can support a slightly higher capacitance, they could drop in TPD1E05U06DPYRQ1 which will have lower clamping voltage for negative ESD strikes.
