DS90UB953-Q1: Verify support for receiving multiple virtual channels.

Here is our system configuration.

A single sensor outputs both VC0 and VC1 (MIPI virtual channels VC0 and VC1).

However, after passing through the SERDES, only the VC0 data reaches the SoC.

It seems that the serializer is filtering out VC1, and it may not support multiple virtual channels.
Could that be the case?

Hello Jaewon,

The SER does not filter out anything. It just forward everything to the DES.

On the DES there are VC configurations on reg 0x72. Are you using this? Each RX port supports up to 4-VC.

It looks like your SoC is programmed to receive just one VC. Can you double check?

Which port forwarding mode are you using on the DES?

thank your fast response.

We measured the position of the two orange box.

but VC1 data is not visible in oscilloscope like attached picture.

do you know, why disappeared VC1 ?

0x4c : 0x01

0x72: 0xE4

0x4C: 0x12

0x72:0xE4

Can you please provide register dumps from the SER and from the DES? I would like to check you settings.
