DIN4 must not be left floating.
What kind of failure? Does the driver not work as expected? Please show an oscilloscope trace of the input and outputs.
A capacitor, in combination with a resistor, would be able to filter out high-frequency noise. Do you have high-frequency noise?
Hi Chu Allen,
Are you saying you want to put filtering caps on the LVDS signals?
Do you have a scopeshot of the communication and the issue you are seeing?
Generally putting caps on the bus can do more harm than good. They slow down the max speed and distance the bus can support and could potentially cause larger skew between the two signals when the caps mismatched. We would need to look at the scopeshot to see if the VoD of the signal looks good enough that it can support some small caps.
