TL16C752D: Difference between TL16C752D and TL16C754C

Part Number: TL16C752D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TL16C754C,

Tool/software:

Hi team,

I saw in other threads that the difference between TL16C752D and TL16C754C is that they are bugfixed or not, but when I actually ran them, I found the following differences
The TL16C752D and TL16C754C have BIT 4 in the Alternate Function Register (AFR). The manual states that if this BIT is 0, the receive timeout interrupt is disabled.
However, when I actually ran both chips in RS-232 mode, the TL16C754C followed the manual, but the TL16C752D enabled the receive timeout interrupt even when AFR[4] was set to 0.
Is this a difference depending on the model number?
I would like to know all such minor differences as much as possible.

Best Regards,
Ryu.
