Hi All,

I have a question about the TMDS171 and SN65DP149.

Do I have to input HDMI TMDS data0+/- to the TMDS171's IN_D0p/n terminal?
For example, I think it's fine to input TMDS data1+/- to the TMDS171's IN_D0p/n terminal.

The input signal is output as is, so as long as the data signal is not mistaken at the receiving end, I think it doesn't matter which terminal the data signal is input to.
Is my understanding correct?

The TMDS171 has fixed outputs, OUT_CLK(pines 25 and 26) will always send the HDMI clock required for synchronization, this output has to be connected to TMDS_CLK in the connector.

The clock output should match the connector; you may change the order of data lanes, the order changes has to be done in the Rx side as well.

I understand that the clock signal is a fixed output.
Is the data signal also a fixed output?

You can change the data lane order as long as the lane order is matching between the input and the output.
