LM25184: Groud shift test

Part Number: LM25184
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCAN1043-Q1,

Tool/software:

i tried to make a ground shift test for my power electronic (controller module and power module). I found an old post in the TI chat with the title "TCAN1043-Q1: CAN bus Ground shift test". There are some explanations how to do this kind of test. I connected the controller module to the power supplies like mentioned in that post (see copied pic below). The CAN monitor is my PC and i used R&S HMP4030 as power supply. When i connected it like in the pic, as result there is no CAN connection anymore, it doesn't matter how low the shift voltage is. As i increase the shift voltage source, there is no change in the main power supply voltage value. Is there a better way to this this test?

Info: I used LM25184 as part number, because we use this part in our ECU.
