Hello, Hoping you can assist in defining what the RB suffix denotes on part # SN75176BTDRG4RB that we have in inventory? I've attached an image on the part packaging label and the topside marking of the part #.
thank you, Kevin

Kevin,
I'm not entirely sure what the RB suffix means. We don't use this suffix in our newer devices. From the package information, this looks like the device was made in 2007 of July.
I was originally thinking it might point to a fab and assembly site but I wasn't able to find any documentation on it. The oldest datasheet I could find didn't include OPNs with suffixes in the last pages like our datasheets today. So I don't know with certainty what this suffix stands for.

Kevin,
I was able to ask around and finally have an answer. It looks like this suffix is a special device that was specifically made for a customer. RB stands for Robert Bosch (Bosch company from Germany). I don't know specifically what was changed or altered for this device. Sometimes, it's change to the die and other times it's related to the final test program we run (usually more strict).
