New TUSB2016BI not recognized

Based on the attached circuit, tested with manufacturing TUSB2046BI dated December 2010, TG4, works perfectly, a new sample made starting in April 2011, TG4, are not recognized by Windows, it is because this difference..? Thank you.

Hello Gabriel,

Could you make a change in your schematic?

It is odd that one of the chips actually works.

You have to add a time delay in your ~RESET signal, the TUSB2046 must have a 1ms duration ~RESET signal(aprox). You can achieve this by adding a 1uF capacitor from TUSB2046's ~RESET pin to ground.

I made the suggested change, add a 1 uf capacitor to reset and now works perfectly, although I still have the question of why the previous was not necessary, it is important that you are finished.

Hello Gabriel,

I'm glad you have fixed your problem, regarding your question on why the previous design worked: did you change your PCB? did you change your 5-V to 3.3-V regulator?

The 1ms RESET pulse is necessary , something in your previous design should be adding a delay in the RESET terminal.

The TUSB2046B can not work properly without the required reset signal.
